Adult Ministries

Missouri City Baptist Church offers adult members the opportunity to carry out the mission and vision of the church through ministry participation.

The Focus Team was developed to stimulate the involvement of 90% of our members existing as well as new and ease the transition into or serve as a liaison to help members become part of a ministry of their choice.  We also make follow-up calls or send letters to new members as well as visitors.

MCBC Deacon Ministry

The Deacon Ministry assists the pastor in making certain that every member and family in the church experience the love and support of the whole congregation. The Deacon ministry is responsible for assisting the pastor in meeting the needs of the congregation.

Deacons work with new Christians to prepare them for baptism. They prepare and serve communion to the congregation, send out bereavement letters, attend funerals and visit the sick and families who have lost a loved one. Each deacon has a family group under his care in which he prays for and keeps in constant communication.
